英文crush一字在此是當名詞用，作「熱戀」或「著迷」解。
harbor a crush on someone是英文成語，意思是「熱戀某人」，亦作have a crush on someone。這種情懷在青少年期間（teenage）最為常見。然從上述「星」聞觀之，會有這種情懷的，也並不僅僅是青少年而已。至於harbor a secret crush on someone，意思則是「暗自迷戀某人」。
